Where To Start with Options and More
What Could Be Causing You To Be Unfit?
There are so many people out there who can’t seem to figure out why they can’t maintain the ideal fitness and good health even if they’re physically active and they eat well. However, what you must know is that fitness and good health can only be achieved if you acknowledge the fact that there are some little things out there that you often forget but can actually be a major determining factor.
1 – Habit of Sleep Deprivation
Energy is something the body can’t live without. And to get energy to sustain exercises and the daily grind of doing physical activities, we all need enough sleep. But if you are not able to get enough sleep, say at least seven hours a day, you deprive your body of rest; rest that is essential for keeping your energy levels high in the morning. If the body fails to rest, your brain translates this by way of instructing it to be idle. And when you skip on exercise and the daily activities that make you burn fat, you end up gaining weight.
2 – Digestion Issues
Your digestive system is one of the most overworked systems in the body. If it happens that something is wrong with the system, you could end up seeing your fitness goals hindered. The digestive system is so important because all the food you eat will have to go through it before becoming useful for energy and growth. But if you suffer from a digestive problem like an irritable bowel syndrome, then your body might not be able to fully take advantage of the food you’re eating, more particularly in extracting the nutrients in them. For this specific condition, the digestive system could convert your food into waste, depriving your body of the nutrients it needs. Consequently, the lack of nutrients in the body will cause you to lose weight. If you don’t want to lose a lot of weight and look like you haven’t eaten for weeks, then go ahead and find some kind of irritable bowel syndrome treatment.
3 – You Happen to Own Flat Feet
Although this sounds crazy, having flat feet could also deter your hopes of getting fitter. You can even ask a physical therapist about this and they’ll certainly back the idea up. If you don’t know it yet, having flat feet results to depression in the arches, which in turn could affect knee and ankle alignment. As a result of the effect on the alignment of your knees and ankles, you might end up getting knee and ankle pain, which obviously are contributory factors to not letting you perform at your best, at least in the physical aspect.
